Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center earned the “Get With the Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus” Quality Achievement Award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period.

Retired Atrium Health Navicent Associate Chief Nursing Officer Dawn Cole was awarded the prestigious Georgia Hospital Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday during the Georgia Hospital Association’s (GHA) Hospital Hero Awards virtual celebration. Cole, the only health care worker statewide to receive the award, was recognized for dedicating over 35 years to her career and her patients before she retired in 2019.
