Accredited for a five-year term, Carlyle Place has voluntarily submitted to a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors, during an on-site survey, that it is committed to conforming to CARF’s accreditation conditions and standards.
Atrium Health Navicent Provides COVID-19 Vaccinations for Teachers, School Staff

Atrium Health Navicent, in partnership with the Bibb County School District, held a special event Saturday to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to teachers and school staff. Nearly 700 Bibb County Schools employees registered to receive vaccines during the event at Atrium Health’s two Macon vaccination sites – the Family Health Center on Eisenhower Parkway and The Wellness Center on Northside Drive. “Teachers serve an important role in our community, nurturing the growth of our children, our future,” said Atrium Health Navicent President and CEO Delvecchio Finley. “Partnerships like this one with Bibb County Schools, and our other community partnerships to vaccinate seniors, are examples of how our health system is engaging with the communities we serve.” Educators and school staff, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers, and parents of children with complex medical conditions became eligible March 8 to receive a COVID-19 vaccine under Georgia’s priority distribution plan. Children under five years of age were the most likely to be treated in emergency rooms for firework-related injuries, and teens ages 15-19 were the second most likely.

Designation is Highest Honor from National Consortium of Breast Centers MACON, GA (Wednesday, November 18, 2020) – The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC,) a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted three-year accreditation to Breast Care Center, Navicent Health (BCCNH). To achieve voluntary NAPBC accreditation, BCCNH demonstrated compliance with the NAPBC standards that look at a center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community outreach, professional education and quality improvement.
