National Nurses Week is held annually from May 6 through May 12 The community is invited to join Atrium Health Navicent in recognizing National Nurses Week by thanking the health system’s more than 2,100 nurses for their dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic and the exceptional patient care they provide daily. In 2020, the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition Program recognized The Medical Center, Navicent Health with its fourth Magnet designation, placing the facility in an elite group.

Children under five years of age were the most likely to be treated in emergency rooms for firework-related injuries, and teens ages 15-19 were the second most likely.

Designation is Highest Honor from National Consortium of Breast Centers MACON, GA (Wednesday, November 18, 2020) – The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC,) a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has granted three-year accreditation to Breast Care Center, Navicent Health (BCCNH). To achieve voluntary NAPBC accreditation, BCCNH demonstrated compliance with the NAPBC standards that look at a center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community outreach, professional education and quality improvement.
