Most surgery requires no hospital stay

Approximately 75 percent of the surgery performed at Atrium Health Navicent Peach is outpatient. Advances in operating room techniques and anesthesia allow most patients to return home safely on the same day they have surgery with minimum discomfort and inconvenience. Many procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis, eliminating a hospital stay and allowing you to return much sooner to work and daily activities.
