Health & Insurance Coverage Provided at no cost:

  • Professional Liability: For all normal activities associated with residency/fellowship status. (Coverage limits provided in employment agreement.)
  • Health Insurance (medical and dental): For individual and immediate family beginning on date of hire.
  • Life Insurance: Basic life coverage of one-time annual salary plus $25,000 is provided, with an option to purchase additional amounts.
  • Disability Insurance: Standard Navicent Health long-term disability coverage provided to the resident/fellow.

Holidays, Vacation, Sick Leave:

  • All residents/fellows receive 3 weeks (defined as 15 working days) of holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
  • All residents/fellows receive 6 weeks paid leave for maternal, parental, illness.

Educational & Wellness Allowance Benefit:

  • All residents receive a $1,500.00 annual (academic year) educational allowance. Allowance may be used for academic conference registration / travel expenses, dues, books and journals (print or electronic), fees for board, and certification exams, etc.
  • Residents/Fellows eligible to participate for LiveWELL incentives that includes annual payouts of $600 to $1,350 that may be used towards wellness costs.

Other Benefits for Post Graduate Residents and Fellows

  • Meal Allowance: $80.77 biweekly; $2100 per year.
  • Resident Lounge which is stocked with food daily.
  • Uniforms: Individual lab coat provided and access to scrubs.
  • $2,000 one – time moving stipend.
