Applicant Information
Applicant Eligibility Requirements Residency:
- Graduates of medical schools accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).
- Graduate of colleges of osteopathic medicine accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
- Graduate of medical schools outside the United States who have received a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Graduate (ECFMG) or have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
- Be a graduate from a medical school outside the United States and has completed a Fifth Pathway** program provided by an LCME-accredited medical school.
- Must meet Georgia Composite Medical Board licensure requirements.
- Must be a United States citizen, a lawful permanent resident or must possess the appropriate documentation to allow the potential resident to legally work in the United States.
- Must meet any minimal eligibility criteria as described by current ACGME requirements.
- Must have successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Steps I, II and Clinical Skills (CS) or COMLEX I, II and CS. All scores must be available before matriculation into the program and preferably before the rank submission deadline.
- Must submit a completed application through ERAS®, including but not limited to: USMLE or COMLEX scores, medical school transcript, Curriculum Vitae, Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) and 3 reference.
- Residents must meet all Employee Health clearance requirements including required immunizations, screening, pre-employment drug testing and be processed through a mandatory background check.

Additional Eligibility Requirements Fellowship:
- Option 1. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency program, AOA-approved residency program, a program with ACGME International (ACGME-1) Advanced Specialty Accreditation, or a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)-accredited or College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)-accredited residency program located in Canada; or
- Option 2. Must be completed in an ACGME-accredited residency program or an AOA-approved residency program.

Additional Eligibility Requirements Information:
- Programs have established additional eligibility criteria, based on the goals of the program; and will select from among eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness and ability to benefit from the program to which they have applied.
- Programs will not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability, or any other applicable legally protected status.
