Each year, 1 in 10 babies is born premature, which means they are born prior to 37 weeks of pregnancy.

The grant will provide a care coordinator to support high-risk obstetric patients As part of Atrium Health Navicent’s ongoing effort to improve maternal health, the health system is pleased to announce the receipt of a Healthcare Georgia Foundation grant to support high risk obstetrics patients. Since inception, the program has awarded more than $9 million to healthcare charities and programs Atrium Health Navicent’s employee giving program, Healthcare Employees Achieving Tomorrow (H.E.A.T.), has awarded 22 grants to health care charities and programs totaling $198,089.
