Our mission is to provide quality care quickly for the trauma patient. This includes evaluation, treatment and prevention of serious injuries — encompassing pre-hospital, hospital, and follow-up care.
Atrium Health Navicent - Macon, Georgia, is the only American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma verified Level I trauma center in middle Georgia and is your regional trauma center.
AHN's Level I trauma team, comprised of numerous surgeons in various specialties as well as highly-trained and specialized clinicians, is available 24 hours per day and able to provide the most sophisticated level of care for trauma patients. In addition, as a Level I trauma center, AHN leads the field in research in Georgia and provides training for future surgeons through residency and fellowship programs.
