This endowed scholarship has been established to honor a dedicated physician from Milledgeville, Georgia. Dr. Samuel M. Goodrich was born in his family's home in Milledgeville, and he attended Georgia Military College Prep and Junior College before transferring to the University of Georgia where he received his bachelor's degree with majors in chemistry, physics and biology.
