Telephone Calls

Prescription calls, billing calls, and calls to re-schedule appointment must be made between normal business hours. When calling with an emergency after hours, please listen carefully to instructions, our answering machine will direct you to the on call clinical staff. When leaving a message explain the nature and urgency of your problems as clearly and concisely as possible, and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

In an extreme emergency, such as loss of consciousness, chest pain, severe breathing problems, or major bleeding, call you emergency service number (usually 911) first. Do not delay emergency care by calling the answering service. Afterward, if necessary, call your physician for further advice and coordination of your emergency care.

The appointment desk for scheduling or re-scheduling office appointments is extension #2. For scheduling or re-scheduling procedure appointments please dial extension #4.
When calling for an appointment, please be prepared to describe the reason for your visit and symptoms so that we can schedule appropriately.

Clinical questions can be addressed at extension #4.

For test results please contact extension #5.

New prescription and refills are issued during office visits only. To avoid running out of medication, please notify the physician at your office visit, if refills are needed. If you miss or cancel an appointment, we will reschedule as soon as possible. However, please know that refills will not always be approved in these cases and an interruption in your treatment plan may occur. We highly encourage all patients to keep scheduled appointments for this reason.
