American College of Radiology accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging The American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging have designated Atrium Health Navicent Breast Care Center as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. Located at Atrium Health Navicent Peyton Anderson Cancer Center and Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center in Macon, Atrium Health Navicent Breast Care Center provides diagnostic imaging services used both in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

CGTC is first Georgia technical college to offer on-campus student health services Atrium Health Navicent and Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Aug. 29 to celebrate the opening of new on-campus health clinics at the college’s Macon and Warner Robins locations. CGTC is the first technical college in the state to offer on-campus health care services to students.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is one of only five adult Level I trauma centers in Georgia Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center has achieved redesignation as an American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Level I trauma center. The Medical Center was originally designated as a state Level I trauma center by the Georgia Department of Public Health in 1998.

Campus health clinic to open this fall Atrium Health Navicent and Fort Valley State University (FVSU) have partnered to offer on-campus health services for students, faculty and staff beginning fall 2023. The partnership has evolved from a relationship between leaders at Atrium Health Navicent and FVSU, which led to a discussion about ways to enhance students’ health and well-being through services offered on campus. “This partnership will increase access to quality health care close to home for students, faculty and staff at Fort Valley State University,” said Atrium Health Navicent President Delvecchio Finley. “Eliminating barriers individuals may face in seeking health care, and offering a convenient clinic near classrooms will make it easier for students, faculty and staff to live healthier lives.
