Currently Dr. Stankowitz provides medication management services for patients in the Anticoagulation, Medication Compliance, and Hypertension Clinics. Dr. Chan, is a Cambodian pharmacist and David J. Sencer Scholar for Epidemic Intelligence Service, who joined the Atrium Health Navicent Department of Pharmacy after completing her PGY2 pharmacy residency program. She began her pharmacy professional career in 2011 as a pharmacist at a community pharmacy and volunteered at clinical laboratories in Cambodia. She has been on multiple humanitarian missions. While in Cambodia, she encountered widespread overuse of antimicrobial medications, which led to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Wanting to make a greater impact as a pharmacist, she obtained her MPH, PharmD, and BCIDP in the USA. Dr. Chan is passionate about public health, infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and AMR. In her free time, she enjoys building and collecting Legos, cycling, and listening to podcasts.
