Our Hospice and palliative care fellowship program is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive learning environment where every fellow, faculty member, staff member, patient and family is treated with dignity and respect. We believe that diversity in backgrounds, experiences, perspectives and culture strengthens our education program and enhances the quality of care we provide. We are dedicated to recruiting and supporting fellows from diverse backgrounds, while promoting a culture of inclusion, collaboration and mutual respect. Our program encourages open dialogue and cultural humility in life-long learning to help fellows recognize and address health care disparities. Through education, mentorship and clinical experience, our fellows develop the knowledge, skills and professionalism needed to care for diverse populations with empathy, compassion and respect, while advocating for equitable access to Hospice and Palliative Care services for all.
