Revised masking policy goes into effect March 30, 2022 As a COVID-19 precaution, Atrium Health Navicent continues to require teammates to wear surgical masks for all in-person interactions with patients and for visitors in buildings where patient care is taking place. Due to the decrease in local cases of COVID-19, masking will be optional in non-clinical buildings – locations where no patient health care is provided – beginning March 30, 2022.

Atrium Health Navicent’s facility is the only cancer center in Georgia to hold NAPRC accreditation Atrium Health Peyton Anderson Cancer Center, has earned a three-year accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons. The cancer center, an Atrium Health Navicent facility, is the first in Georgia to receive NAPRC accreditation.

Appointments are required After a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atrium Health Navicent Family Birth Center has resumed offering tours to expectant parents. “Tours allow patients to have more peace of mind in planning for the arrival of their new addition, offering a sneak peak at labor and delivery suites, where they’ll report to OB assessment and more,” said Debra Riley, assistant vice president for Atrium Health Navicent Patient Care Services. “With the decrease in local COVID-19 cases, we’re glad to resume offering tours.” Tours will comply with Atrium Health Navicent’s COVID-19 Safe Visitor Restrictions.

When the children’s hospital opened its doors three years ago, inpatient children’s services were consolidated under one roof, providing opportunities for expansion to better serve children in need.
