Care and procedures
With registered sonographers, state-of-the-art ultrasounds and in-office tests, we provide a clear diagnosis and customized treatment plan for you and your baby.
Our high-risk pregnancy care includes:
- Preconception counseling to help you understand how a preexisting condition, pregnancy history or other risk factor might affect your pregnancy
- Labor and delivery consultations to help you prepare for a birth experience that’s as safe and free of complications as possible
- Management of high-risk pregnancy conditions and complications, with care that can start before pregnancy and continue through delivery and after your baby is born
- Diagnostic testing and ultrasounds, including level 2 ultrasounds for the most detailed images
In some cases, more complex testing or treatment may be needed. A few procedures we perform include:
- Amniocentesis, which analyzes the cells in fluid from the amniotic sac for abnormalities and defects
- Rescue cerclage, where we temporarily stitch the cervix closed to prevent preterm labor
- Cesarean hysterectomy, where we remove the uterus during a C-section delivery
- Ex utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT), a special C-section delivery where the baby receives immediate care and treatment before the umbilical cord is cut
- Amnioreduction, where excess amniotic fluid is removed
