Atrium Health Navicent Partners with Panhellenic Council for Saturday Peach County COVID-19 Vaccination Event

Atrium Health Navicent is partnering with the Greater Warner Robins-National Panhellenic Council and local businesses to provide public COVID-19 vaccination services Saturday, May 22, at South Peach Park, 200 Murray Road in Fort Valley.

The drive-thru vaccine clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment or insurance is required. Parents must accompany children aged 12 to 17. COVID-safe behaviors, including social distancing, will be in effect.

“Atrium Health Navicent is thankful for community partnerships which extend our reach and help make vaccine access easy for anyone who wishes to receive COVID-19 protection,” said Atrium Health Navicent President and CEO Delvecchio Finley. “Thanks to the Greater Warner Robins-National Panhellenic Council and to these local businesses for their partnership in this event and for their part in slowing the pandemic’s spread in Peach County and all of central Georgia.”

Sponsors for the South Peach Park event include: The Greater Warner Robins-National Panhellenic Council; DJ Jerzey; Dr. Phoeby Lewis Dental Care of Bonaire; Dr. Donna Bellamy, Partner of Electronic Caregiver; Benita Scott of Panache Hair Company, LLC; Dr. Helen-Louise Moore of Pediatric Associates in Warner Robins and Patricia Duncan of Alice’s Place Structured Family Caregiver Provider.

“The Greater Warner Robins-National Panhellenic Council is very appreciative for organizations like Atrium Health Navicent for their help in vaccinating adolescents and adults in our community. Due to cold storage requirements, few providers have access to the Pfizer vaccine, the only shot approved thus far for children as young as 12,” said Dr. Donna Bellamy, a member of the Greater Warner Robins-National Panhellenic Council COVID-19 Vaccine Drive Thru Committee. “We’re hoping that families will choose to be vaccinated so our community can return to a pre-pandemic lifestyle.”

The National Panhellenic Council is comprised of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
