Upgraded 911 systems, new ambulance headquarters and pre-hospital blood transfusions enhance emergency care MACON, Ga., May 21, 2026 – Atrium Health Navicent is expanding lifesaving EMS services and technology through improvements to 911 emergency communications infrastructure, a new ambulance headquarters and offering pre-hospital blood transfusions. The health system invested nearly $400,000 to upgrade its EMS Communications Center, improving Atrium Health Navicent EMS’s ability to receive, manage and process emergency calls with greater speed and reliability.

Virtual mental health services are now offered to students in 13 central Georgia schools MACON, Ga., April 27, 2026 – A new partnership between Atrium Health and area schools is providing greater access to mental health services for more than 27,500 students. Atrium Health’s School-Based Virtual Therapy Program offers teletherapy to students in grades five through 12 at schools in Crawford, Houston and Peach counties, and The Academy for Classical Education (ACE) in Bibb County.

Teammates across Georgia see $2.85 per hour — or 17.8% — increase to starting rate MACON, Ga., Jan. 28, 2026 – Atrium Health Navicent is making a significant additional investment into its local workforce, announcing an increase in the minimum starting rate wage for eligible teammates in Georgia to $18.85 per hour, which will be reflected on the teammates’ Jan. 30 paychecks. The new minimum starting rate represents a $2.85 per-hour — or 17.8% — increase for teammates at Atrium Health Navicent, which is part of Advocate Health, the nation’s third-largest nonprofit health system.

Members of the community joined Atrium Health Navicent in celebrating a ribbon cutting Tuesday for a new clinic, Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care Family Medicine Perry. “We’re excited to expand our primary care and family medicine services to help residents of Perry and the surrounding community to have easier access to high-quality care close to home,” said Atrium Health Georgia Market President Delvecchio Finley. “Regular check-ups with a primary care provider and receiving prompt care for other medical needs are key to helping individuals and families live healthier, fuller lives.” Conveniently located at 2370 Houston Lake Road in Perry, the clinic offers care for patients aged 6 months and older, including preventative care and annual physicals; immunizations; same-day sick appointments; disease management for conditions such as diabetes, congestive heart failure and hypertension; minor surgical procedures, laboratory services and more. As part of Atrium Health Navicent, patients at Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care Family Medicine Perry will have direct access to referrals to a broad range of medical specialists.
