Atrium Health Navicent program offers graduating high school seniors assistance as they pursue health care careers

Rise to Success program offers employment and tuition assistance

MACON, Ga., Feb. 3, 2026

Atrium Health Navicent is now accepting applications for the Rise to Success program which offers graduating high school seniors employment and tuition assistance as they pursue health care careers. Applications are due March 1.

Since launching in 2023, the program has provided participants an opportunity to earn an associate degree at a local community college while gaining valuable on-the-job experience. Tuition, textbooks, activity fees and scrubs are paid for by Atrium Health Navicent.

“As hospitals across the nation continue to face a growing need for health care workers, it’s so very important that health systems do all we can to support those interested in pursuing health careers,” said Sheila Rawlins, Workforce Development and Career Innovations manager for Advocate Health, of which Atrium Health Navicent is a part. “In the past year, it’s been amazing to see some of the program’s first participants graduate with degrees and start full-time work in the health care field. Rise to Success gave them the extra support to achieve their dreams and we are so proud to be part of their career success.”

Eligible fields of study for the Rise to Success program include phlebotomy, pharmacy technology, emergency medical services and paramedic programs, clinical technician, medical laboratory technology, medical assistant, nursing, radiology, surgical technology, occupational therapy and respiratory therapy.

Participants are required to work at Atrium Health Navicent for an additional year after the completion of their associate degree.
