Atrium Health Navicent Celebrates Opening of New Community Health Center
$7.4 million investment enhances patient experience, expands access to care and supports physician training for future generations.
MACON, Ga., Oct. 2, 2026 – Atrium Health Navicent today celebrated the opening of the newly renovated and relocated Atrium Health Navicent W.T. Anderson Health Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by community members, representatives from the local medical community and members of the Anderson family.
Located on the fourth floor of the 770 Pine Street Professional Building, the more than 13,000-square-foot center offers internal medicine, OB/GYN and specialty care services in a modern, centralized location. By bringing services together on a single floor, the space improves convenience, navigation and the overall patient experience.
“This clinic represents more than a new space. It reflects our commitment to delivering care in ways that are more connected and convenient for our patients while also enhancing training for tomorrow’s physicians,” said Delvecchio S. Finley, Georgia area president of Atrium Health, part of Advocate Health. “By investing in both patient care and physician training, we are helping redefine care, improve health outcomes and ensure more people have access to the services they need close to home.”
The $7.4 million project was made possible through an investment from Advocate Health and support from Georgia Power.
The Atrium Health Navicent W.T. Anderson Health Center provides care for approximately 10,000 patients annually while serving as a key training site for Atrium Health Navicent medical residents. The physicians who train at the clinic take their experience into communities across Georgia and throughout the nation.
