Atrium Health Navicent is now offering COVID- 19 vaccines for everyone aged 5 and older. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended that children aged 5 through 11 be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine.

Retired Atrium Health Navicent Associate Chief Nursing Officer Dawn Cole was awarded the prestigious Georgia Hospital Heroes Lifetime Achievement Award on Thursday during the Georgia Hospital Association’s (GHA) Hospital Hero Awards virtual celebration. Cole, the only health care worker statewide to receive the award, was recognized for dedicating over 35 years to her career and her patients before she retired in 2019.

Each year, 1 in 10 babies is born premature, which means they are born prior to 37 weeks of pregnancy.
