Hospice affirms life, but recognizes dying as part of the natural process of living.
Hospice offers an accomplished, professional staff that specializes in treating the patient, not the disease, and is especially adept at pain and symptom management to ensure patients the utmost dignity in their final days. Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe is a beautiful inpatient hospice home, which opened in Fall of 2010. This home is an extension of the care and dignity provided to those nearing life's end that cannot be cared for in their own home.
Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe Hospice & Palliative Care serves Bibb County and ten surrounding counties including Bleckley, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Taylor, Twiggs, Wilkinson, and portions of Lamar Counties. Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe Hospice & Palliative Care accepts all patients regardless of their ability to pay ~ no one is turned away. We also provide services to our patients and families not covered by Medicare or insurance. These services include our Sitter's Program, our Skyler Bear Project for grieving children, and our Family Assistance Fund.
