The Magnet^® Recognition Program was developed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center to award health care organizations that have proven a commitment to excellence in healthcare with dedicated nurses at the core of excellence. The Magnet^® Recognition Program highlights achievements worldwide of committed organizations where nursing leadership effectively aligns their nursing strategic goals to foster excellence in patient's outcomes. For our Atrium Health Navicent nurses, it means transformational leadership starting at the bedside. Atrium Health Navicent nurses engage in knowledge sharing, empowerment, career growth, and autonomy in their professional practice immersed in a culture that supports education and development of our nurses. The journey started in 2005 with the first Magnet^® Recognition of Excellence, and fast forward to 2024 as Atrium Health Navicent is in pursuit of its fifth Magnet^® recognition designation for nursing excellence..
