Navicent Health Strategy Officer Featured as Expert on National Podcast
Atrium Health Navicent Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer Christopher Cornue was recently a featured expert for Relentless Health Value's national podcast devoted to achieving quality within the healthcare industry. Cornue's topic of discussion for the 30-minute podcast released on Thursday, February 22 was, "Linking Healthcare Innovation and Organizational Strategy."
"The combination of strategy and innovation is one of those core synergies that will make the difference for healthcare in the future. Strategies of the past will not be what takes us into the future, especially with all of the changes happening in healthcare," said Cornue. Cornue spoke with Relentless Health Value President and CEO Stacey Richter on innovative strategies, implementation and execution, disruption and continued relevance, and cultures of change, among other points.
Relentless Health Value has offered consumers a weekly interview podcast since 2014. Guests include leading figures in the healthcare industry, who discuss methods to achieve the Triple Aim of improving population health and patient experience while managing costs effectively. Committed to the three facets of the Triple Aim, Atrium Health Navicent is continually seeking innovative methods to meet the demands of, and lead solution develop for, an industry in transition.
"Atrium Health Navicent is really well poised to demonstrate the innovative change that can happen over a larger regional area. You don't hear a lot nationally about the change that is happening in the rural market. Even though Atrium Health Navicent is based in Macon, Ga., many of our partners and the work we end up doing is with rural healthcare providers," said Cornue.
"Our industry's future success lies in the creation of healthy communities in urban, suburban and rural markets, such as those served by Atrium Health Navicent. This is achieved by aligning a strategic focus with innovative approaches. At Atrium Health Navicent, we are continually striving to disrupt and innovate in order to remain relevant within the market. We are pleased that Chris has been able to share his knowledge and expertise on a national platform," said Dr. Ninfa M. Saunders, President and CEO of Atrium Health Navicent.
