Peyton Anderson Cancer Center will begin receiving patients on November 17, 2014. Atrium Health Navicent strategically planned for this new 100,000 square foot cancer center because of the region's current and potential need.

“With early diagnosis, improved treatments and an aging baby boomer population, the number of cancer patients and survivors is on the rise. We are grateful to those who have supported our goal of operating a facility that coordinates oncology services,” said Dr. Frederick M Schnell, Director of Atrium Health Navicent's Georgia Cancer Coalition Grant and Medical Director of Oncology Services at Atrium Health Navicent.

Construction on the $44 million project began in December 2013.
