Research Engine HealthGroves.com Names MCNH Second in State

MACON, GA (Thursday, October 8, 2015) - The Medical Center, Navicent Health (MCNH) has been included in research engine Health Grove's listing of the best hospitals in the state of Georgia, ranking second only behind Emory University Hospital of Atlanta. 

In order to determine which hospitals to include in Georgia's Top 10, Health Grove examined data from the following areas:

  • Medicare performance scores
  • Number of cases per year
  • U.S. News & World Report ranking
  • Lowest mortality rates related to pneumonia, heart attack and heart failure
  • Lowest rates of catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI)
