Forsythia Health Fair to be held Saturday, February 25

Atrium Health Navicent invites the community to participate in a healthy day of learning and fun at the Forsythia Health Fair, scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Monroe Regional Medical Complex (120 North Lee Street, Forsyth).

The entire family is invited to participate in health screenings, demonstrations and discussions related to personal health and wellness. The following are just a few opportunities that will be offered at the Forsythia Health Fair:

"¢ Free health screenings, including:

o Breast exams

o Blood pressure

o Fall risk assessment

o Full blood lipid screenings

o Glucose

"¢ Angioscreen, a painless non-invasive method to determine a person's risk for heart disease and stroke, will be offered for $50*. Preregistration is required. Please call 1-800-627-2393 for an appointment.

"¢ Prostate Specific Antigen Tests, a screening to detect prostate cancer, provided by Monroe County Hospital for $10.

"¢ Health education for teenagers.

"¢ Zumba Latin-infused dance aerobic demonstration.
