Carlyle Place Receives 2023 Choice Community Award

Holleran, a premier research and consulting organization offering employee and resident engagement benchmarks to senior living communities across the country, has named Carlyle Place, a Life-Plan Community of Atrium Health Navicent, as a 2023 Holleran Community Choice Award winner.

Carlyle Place has exceeded national benchmarks for community engagement among residents. Award-winning campuses such as Carlyle Place are in the top 15th percentile of all campuses in Holleran’s benchmark. This is the third year that Carlyle Place has been recognized as a Holleran Community Choice Award winner.

“Being recognized by Holleran over consecutive years is a tangible demonstration of Carlyle Place’s commitment tohelping our residents live their best lives,” said Carlyle Place Executive Director Troy Cannaday. “I am proud of our teammates and the efforts they make every single day to engage with residents at all levels of care, providing anatmosphere where residents can thrive and experience the fullness of life, even through some of life’s most challenging moments.”

Residents at Carlyle Place are provided numerous opportunities to become involved with campus life through classes including music and painting, and fitness activities such as pickleball and cycling. They stay connected with friends and loved ones through the use of innovative iN2L technology. Residents are encouraged to give back to the central Georgia community through service-oriented volunteerism for groups ranging from children’s charities and theaters to local schools and military organizations.

“When a prospective resident looks at our Holleran Choice Community Award in this everybody-gets-a-trophy world, they usually don’t ask the question, ‘How many communities get this award?’ When they realize that Carlyle Place is one of the few in the entire country to receive this award, they can measure what Carlyle Place can mean to them,” said Dr. Ty Ivey, president of Carlyle Place’s Resident Advisory Council. “At Carlyle Place, we are always pleased to see that we measure up to Holleran's high standards.”

Since 2001, Carlyle Place has been dedicated to the health and well-being of its residents. Carlyle Place is central Georgia’s only life-plan community, and works to fulfil a mission to provide fulfilling lifestyle opportunities and exceptional health care services to seniors in Macon and the surrounding area. Located on a 58-acre campus off of Zebulon Road in Macon, there are 223 independent living garden homes and apartments, 29 assisted living residences, 26 memory care residences and 40 skilled nursing residences. Carlyle Place provides security, stability and support for residents to successfully navigate the various stages of senior living. To schedule a private tour, call 478-405-4500.

Holleran has the largest benchmark of its kind, measuring both resident and employee engagement in the senior living space.
