Atrium Health Navicent President Named to Georgia Trend’s ‘GEORGIA 500’ List

Atrium Health Navicent President Delvecchio Finley has been included on Georgia Trend’s “GEORGIA 500” list of the state’s most influential leaders of 2023. The comprehensive list of local leaders who drive the economy across the state includes leaders ranging from the fields of agribusiness and education to aerospace, the arts, health care, the military, real estate and transportation.

Offering services at hospitals and facilities located throughout central and south Georgia, Atrium Health Navicent generates an estimated annual economic impact of more than $1.8 billion for the local and state economy and delivers $294 million in uncompensated care and other community benefits.

Individuals included on the GEORGIA 500 list were selected from nominations of candidates who best reflect the innovation, vitality and success of Georgia business. It’s the second year Finley has been named to the list.

Finley joined Atrium Health Navicent as president in February 2021. Responsible for the strategic direction and growth of Atrium Health Navicent, he is currently guiding the system through its implementation of new technology platforms and its integration into the new Advocate Health enterprise.

In addition to his work at the hospital system, Finley serves as chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society of more than 48,000 health care executives who lead hospitals, health care systems and other health care organizations.

Finley has received numerous awards during his career, including twice being named to Modern Healthcare’s “Top 25 Diversity Leaders in Healthcare” list. He was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s “Top Healthcare Executives Under 40” list in 2015 and Becker’s “149 Black Healthcare Leaders to Know” list in 2023.
