Atrium Health Navicent Offers COVID-19 Testing Services

COVID-19 testing services are now available at Atrium Health Navicent Virtual Care Center in conjunction with a Virtual Visit. To schedule a Virtual Visit, navigate your web browser to www.navicenthealth.org/virtual-visit, or for more information, call 478-633-8730.
Tests will be performed at Atrium Health Navicent Virtual Care Center, located at 3711 Bloomfield Road in Macon, by appointment.
“We’re excited to expand access to community COVID-19 testing,” said Dr. Sandy Duke, Atrium Health Navicent’s chief clinical officer. “We encourage patients who think they may need a test for COVID-19 to consult with a Virtual Visit provider and schedule a test at Atrium Health Navicent Virtual Care Center.”
While Atrium Health Navicent’s emergency departments and urgent care centers remain available to provide care, patients seeking testing are asked to seek the level of care that best fits their needs.
Virtual Visits for COVID-19 testing are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.
Atrium Health Navicent physicians continue to recommend COVID-19 vaccination for everyone aged 5 and older and COVID-19 booster shots for those eligible. Vaccine and booster appointments are available by visiting COVIDSafeGa.org. Vaccine availability is allocated and managed by the state. A parent or guardian must accompany minors to all vaccine appointments.
Vaccinated individuals and those waiting to be vaccinated are encouraged to continue to practice COVID-safe behaviors including wearing a mask in public, social distancing and frequent handwashing.
