Atrium Health Navicent Hosts Free Family Fun Day

Atrium Health Navicent is hosting a Family Fun Day, offering free health screenings and activities for the entire family from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. The event will be held at Atrium Health Navicent Peyton Anderson Cancer Center, 800 First St., Macon.

Available services will include:

• Glucose screenings

• PSA testing

• Blood pressure screenings

• Clinical breast exams

• Screening mammograms

• HIV screenings

• Wellness activities

Children’s activities will also be available, including face painting, a live DJ, prize drawings and more. A food truck will be on site with food available for purchase. Meal vouchers for free food and ice cream will be available for the first 150 people. Grand prize drawings include a Nintendo Switch, Yeti cooler and a television.

“Knowing your numbers – glucose levels and blood pressure – and staying up-to-date with recommended screenings and vaccinations is a great way to ensure you’re health is on track,” said Dr. Paul Dale, chief of surgical oncology for Atrium Health Navicent and medical director for Atrium Health Navicent Peyton Anderson Cancer Center. “Come join us for some fun and take steps to healthier life.”
