Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Milledgeville OB-GYN Clinic

As part of Atrium Health Navicent’s commitment to improving maternal health and expanding access to quality health care, the health system is now offering obstetrics and gynecology services at a new clinic in Milledgeville.

Members of the community joined Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin in celebrating the new Atrium Health Navicent Women’s Care OB/GYN Baldwin clinic with a ribbon cutting on March 5.

The clinic offers prenatal and general obstetric care, along with gynecological services, including pap smears and well woman visits.

“There’s a national high demand for health care workers, and Atrium Health Navicent is proud to partner with the medical community and governmental health agencies to help address rural health challenges here in Milledgeville, including a gap in OB-GYN care,” said Atrium Health Georgia Market President Delvecchio Finley. “We are excited to open this new clinic, and to help women have easier access to high-quality health care close to home.”

Doctors recommend that women begin scheduling prenatal care visits as soon as they learn that they’re pregnant. For planned pregnancies, preconception counseling is an important part of an annual OB-GYN visit.

Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin Women’s Care OB/GYN is located on the campus of Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin at 624 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milledgeville. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.
