22nd Annual Reindeer Run & Santa Stroll Scheduled for December 6

Annual Race Benefits Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital Initiatives

 

MACON, GA (Monday, November 24, 2014) – The 22nd Annual Reindeer Run & Santa Stroll – benefitting Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital – will take place on Saturday, December 6. Funds from the race will support Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital's “Healthy Me” childhood obesity program.

Approximately 1,000 participants will race through downtown Macon in the 5K run, 3K Junior run (for ages 5-16) or one mile stroll that will begin and end at Macon's Tattnall Square Park. Each event begins at 8:30 a.m. Those wishing to participate may register online at www.reindeerrunmacon.com until midnight on Monday, December 1, and registration will also be available on race day.

As a nonprofit hospital, Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital relies on donations to provide high quality healthcare to pediatric patients in our region. Past support from the Reindeer Run & Santa Stroll has funded the expansion of the Pediatric and the Neonatal Intensive Care Units, the initial year of the “Healthy Me” program and numerous other projects.
