Dr. Kumar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and International Society of Travel Medicine.

Japan White received her Master of Advanced Practice Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She is a Licensed Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and is a member of the America Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed the Critical Care Academy in 2013.
