Dr. Gorby Leon received his Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. He later completed his medical school program at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA and residency training at Atrium Health Navicent Family Medicine Residency Program, Macon, GA in 2016. Upon graduation he accepted a full-time position at the Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care West Macon, a Facility of Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent and served as an Assistant Professor in the Family Medicine Residency Program for 2 years. In addition, he has worked as a hospitalist at Medical Center of Peach County, Atrium Health Navicent and at Urgent Care, Atrium Health Navicent facilities in Macon. Effective October 2018, Dr. Leon will be transitioning to his practice at Primary Care Associates Byron and Atrium Health Navicent Atrium Health Navicent Primary Care Fort Valley, a Facility of Atrium Health Navicent Peach. He is excited for the opportunity in building a patient centered practice that leverages technology and innovation to meet patient needs and preferences while delivering high quality and value care.
