After completing fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology in New York (Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital), Dr. Nhlane moved to Las Vegas for 2 years before moving to Macon where he joined the Medical Center, Navicent Health in 2012 as an Attending Physician and Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Mercer University Medical School).
Dr. Nhlane graduated from College of Medicine, Blantyre, Malawi after attending medical schools in Scotland (University of St Andrews School of Medicine, St Andrews) and England (University College of London Medical School, London). He did his post graduate Pediatric training in the United Kingdom before migrating to the US. He completed a Masters in Physiology at The University of Liverpool, England and he is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (UK). He is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
Dr. Nhlane is a n active member of various professional organizations including American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology (ASPHO), American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) and Histiocyte Society.
