David Danzie is currently Construction Planning Director for the Macon Housing Authority. From 2009 until 2014, he served as BB&T Vice President - Business Services Officer IV. Prior to that, he was City President and Senior Commercial Lender/Manager for Colonial Bank.

In his current role, Danzie is responsible for researching and analyzing construction and financial data to determine the feasibility and viability of such a business venture. His work with BB&T, previously, gave him the responsibility of planning, implementing and production of all of the bank's real estate, commercial and industrial lending objectives in the Macon area. He was responsible for managing commercial loan quality and deposit growth. He established new commercial loan business through development of a network of industry contacts and referrals, cultivating banking relationships with new and existing clients and participation in civic and charitable functions.

Danzie attained his associate degree in business administration at Macon State College. He resides in Byron with his wife Keicha and his 14 year-old twins - David, III and Madison. A Macon/Byron resident for over 25 years, he is an active member of his community, serving on several organizational boards and committees. Some of the organizations Danzie is involved with include Leadership Georgia, past President and Chairman, Atrium Health Navicent Board of Director's (Chair - IT Cmte), Macon-Bibb County Hospital Authority, Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce (Vice Chair - Membership), Better Business Bureau of Middle Georgia - Executive Committee, Central Georgia Technical College, Macon Action Plan Committee, All That Jazz Committee, and Macon Golf for Kids' First Tee of Macon program. In addition, Danzie was recognized in September 2007 by Macon Magazine's Top 5 Leaders Under 40, as well as by Georgia Informer's Top 40 Under 40. In his spare time, he enjoys the many qualities that living in middle Georgia provides, including playing golf, reading and secluded meditation.
