Paperless Billing
At Atrium Health, we're always looking for ways to make your care better, safer and easier. That's why we're moving to paperless billing for all patients.
With paperless billing, you won't receive statements by mail. Instead, you'll get a text message and/or email when a new statement is ready in MyAtriumHealth. This makes the payment process easier and more secure, while also being kinder to the environment.
If you prefer, you can still receive paper statements by updating your settings in MyAtriumHealth. Please call 844-440-6536 if you need help or have questions.

Frequently asked questions
Paperless billing keeps your health information safe and makes the payment process easy. It also helps our planet by reducing the environmental impact of paper waste.
Depending on which notifications you have turned on, you'll receive a text message and/or email that your statement is available in MyAtriumHealth. You'll also see a “pay now” button with a secure link to view and pay your bill.
When a new bill is ready, you can receive a text message, email or both. Follow the steps below to update your communication preferences:
- 1. Sign in to MyAtriumHealth, or create an account.
- 2. From Your Menu, go to Communication Preferences.
- 3. Expand the Billing & Payments list.
- 4. Toggle the checkbox next to each method as needed. If the icon is teal, notifications are turned on. If its gray, notifications are turned off.
- 5. Adjust each of your preferred method(s) of communication.
- 6. When you're done, select Save changes.
You can still receive paper statements. Here's how to update your settings in MyAtriumHealth:
- 1. Sign in to MyAtriumHealth, or create an account.
- 2. Click on Your Menu
- 3. In the menu, tap Billing Summary.
- 4. Tap Paperless Preferences.
- 5. Toggle the digital switch next to Paperless Billing to off.
- 6. Tap Save changes to be taken back to the Billing Summary page.
If your child is under 18 and you are responsible for their account, you will receive the statement. Anyone 18 and over will receive their statements directly.
Sign in to MyAtriumHealth, or create an account. In the menu, click Billing Summary. Click View Last Statement.
