J. Timothy Jackson
J. Timothy Jackson is a member of the Atrium Health Navicent Board of Directors. He serves as Chairperson of Atrium Health Navicent Human Resources Committee. He is also a committee member of the Finance, Executive, and Compensation committees. Mr. Jackson is the current Chairman of the Carlyle Place Board of Directors.
Mr. Jackson has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Fort Valley State University. He has also done graduate study in Management Theory and Human Resources at Georgia College and State University.
Mr. Jackson is a United States Air Force veteran and a retired Postmaster with a total of 38 years of governmental service. While employed with the United States Postal Service he received an Appreciation Plaque from the Quality of Work Life/Employee Involvement Division, Joint Steering Committee in 1998. Mr. Jackson was also awarded the Certificate of Appreciation in 1996, the Special Achievement Award in 1992, and the Beneficial Suggestion-Safety Award in 1986 and 1987.
Mr. Jackson is the Legislative Chair of the Cherry Blossom Chapter of National Active and Retired Federal Employees. He is also a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees and the National Alumni Chapter of Fort Valley State University.
